Aristes Labrador Retrievers

35+ Years of Breeding Quality, not Quantity

As Aristes' Labrador Retrievers I have been showing and breeding Labrador Retrievers since 1971. I am the President of Sporting Dog Fanciers of New Mexico, a pure breed dog club for owners and fanciers of sporting dogs. My Labrador dogs are shown in AKC Conformation events and I have bred or co-bred over 70 champion Labradors. Lab dogs I have owned and bred have competed successfully in AKC conformation and obedience events. Eleven of our Labradors have become assistance dogs. It takes a special kind of Labrador Retriever to do this for disabled individuals. Several of our Labs have been wheelchair assistance dogs — doing everything from picking up items that are dropped, to calling 911 for rescue when their person has fallen out of the chair. Several of our labradors have been social assistants to shy, disabled children that are mainstreaming in school, and one is a seizure alert dog.
